Experienced seniors please help me. I am new here.
I built a site using wordpress, link "gadgetmaster.uuuq.com" but this site is not being indexed in any search engines. Except the BLACKLE search engine. I cannot understand why. because BLACLE is a customized version of Googl search. Google's original search engine google.com do not find anything in my site. not even the URL. Blackle finds 3 of my article, which is OK. No Luck with any other search engines like yahoo and ask.com, nothing. I am pretty woried about it, as I foung Zymic is the best hosting yet. I wanted to make it my permanent site. But if it not indexed, what is the benefit?? Please help me to get the site indexed. Please write in details. Thanks in advance. |

easiest way to get indexed, paste your url in your Zymic forum signature. Search Bots LOVE forums and will index your site every time it comes across the link.
For proof, look at the Board Statistics and you will notice that Google, Yahoo, MSN, Cobion, and Ask Jeeves always have bots in the Zymic forum. |

I wonder how my site got indexed...
Just leave a link in your post about indexing. Then you can argue it had to do with the topic *wink*. |

aussiemcgr it was recently changed (maybe a couple months ago). That's why your site got indexed, anyone who added a link in their signature after this change would not get indexed.

Remember, search engines have different algorithms. In layman's term, ranking in yahoo does not guarantee visibility in other search engines and vise versa. Assuming that your site is new, you are currently under sandbox effect, which is totally normal. To surpass this, you need constant link building like directory submission, forum posting, etc.
