It seems PHPMiniAdmin won't accept if you try to import Databases over 8 MB.

I have a 9/10 MB database and every time I attempt to import it I get an error at the top saying:

Warning: POST Content-Length of 9634529 bytes exceeds the limit of 8388608 bytes in Unknown on line 0

"Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent in /var/wkscript/www/phpminiadmin.php on line 28"

Well that sucks. tongue.gif

Isn't there anything they can do to increase the max size? Could I compress my database backup and upload it somehow, the compressed size is just a tad bit over 1 MB?

why dont you just take some things off of the database, and then upload it. then you can go in and put the taken-out information in after its uploaded. wink.gif

Because I don't want to risk messing anything up as I'm not familiar with editing a database properly.

My database is comprised of forum posts, configuration settings, plugin settings etc...

These are critical to my forum.

I should be able to upload it, I opened a thread when I first joined and informed them of my database size. They said I should be able to upload anything up to 25 MB. My database is about 9.5 MB about 15 - 16 MB less than the alloted max I was informed of.

Hey any word on upping the max limit a bit more for PHPMiniAdmin?

I have a 9 MB database I need to upload. My website has been offline for nearly 3 weeks now, and I need to use a free host until I am able to go paid again at the end of this month.

Please help me get my database uploaded successfully.

Thank You. wink.gif
