your username is too long, the vndv server has a limit of 16 characters on mysql usernames.
Your site name is 15 characters, then add the _ (underscore) and you've got 16. So you need to make a shorter sitename and use that sql database with your perfectlyflawed site. QUOTE Access denied for user 'perfectlyflawed_'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

You don't have to switch your site name (I was kind of in a hurry when I posted that earlier so I was afraid you wouldn't understand what I was saying)
Just make another hosting account (after you login and click hosting control panel there is a button NEXT to the list of sites you already have, click that and make a new account with a shorter name) Make a database on this new account (make sure it's not longer than 16 characters including the site name and the _ (underscore) ex: perfectflaw_user and perfectflaw_data (depends on what you are able to choose as your sitename) Make sure you assign the privileges to the database and username before you leave. Now you can use this MySQL username and database on your perfectlyflawed account. If that still doesn't make sense you can IM me on any AIM or MSN (names are in my forum profile) and I'll try to explain it better or direct you step by step. |

Whoa, that's an interesting way of doing it. Thanks! |

Yep sugarblossoms, it kinda sucks because it's wasting names for new users, but unless Zymic fixes the error (if it can even be fixed) thats the way it'll have to be (or they could limit the username field on the sign up page to 14 characters)
And ECFANS let me know if it works for you! |
