Hi all, I have a domain that was working ok with zymic: monticelli.com.es when it has another dns (74.86.20.181) But now it seems to be a change and the new are ns1.zzl.org [67.220.217.226] and ns2.zzl.org [67.220.217.229] I already change this (in the A record) in the control panel of my domain (three days ago) Before this I activate the web hosting linked with my domain: cronopio.zzl.org. I still can't access, getting this error:
---
This Zymic hosting account requires activation

The address you have entered has not been activated.

If you do not intend on using your hosting, please do not activate the account

If you are the owner of this website please login to your account and visit this link.

You will find within this page a small link named 'activate', click this and your domain will be restored to its former state.

Due to a new server, you will be required to change your database credentials, an email will be sent detailing the new required values.

If you are the owner and should need any help, please stop by our livechat, alternatively please post on our forum
---
The link that the error so gentle to "invite me" to visit doesn’t appear, I suppose is already activated.
In the control panel of my registar I have:'
monticelli.com.es. A - 67.220.217.226
monticelli.com.es. A - 67.220.217.229
www.monticelli.com.es. A - 67.220.217.226
www.monticelli.com.es. A - 67.220.217.229

Somebody can tell me what I'm doing wrong and point me how to fix this.
Thank you in advance
mauricio

BTW -Sorry for my english :-(

You need to activate your account by logging in here.

All the old subdomains were transferred to a brand new server and to regain a lot of wasted space, we require a one-off activation on all the older domains, to check they are still in use.

I already did that!
I click on that link, then I have to click in other (because is a zzl.org), then, in cronopio.zzl.org (my zymic webpage) doesn't appear the activate label because I already activated.
I don't know how to do now.

Thank's for the answer, but, neither I understand or there have to be another way
Bye

Try re-adding your domain with the domain manager in the control panel.

It should of moved your domain over, many domains have been moved over successfully with the migration script too, but just to ensure it is present, add it again.

Ok,
I loged in cronopio.zzl.org, clicked in Add A "Custom Domain Name", write my domain "monticelli.com.es" and I get:
"This domain is disallowed. This domain cannot be added, since it is currently resolving to an IP address. Please try adding this domain again when it is no longer registered."
!? :-((

You've set the A name record to the wrong IP address, it needs to point to "67.220.217.229"

The old server used a different system to determine if it was pointing correctly.

Your answer lies here:

I really appreciate your help, I change the DNS in the control panel of my domain, now I get a 404 error !? But I think is just time for the DNS to propagate.
Thank you so much, I'll wait and tell you if is working OK

I have review this thread, hoping to learn something about my own issue (HERE), but it really hasn't helped me much. I must be way too much of a noob. tongue.gif

So my client just purchased his intended domain name from Godaddy.com, and wants to transfer over from the current subdomain at uuuq.com. It seems like a simple transition... I just don't know where to make the edits. Is this an FTP upload concern, one that I set only in my account settings (which I get a similar message as above, telling me to use a different domain name that is unregistered), or do I have to set up some kind of settings with the registrar (godaddy)?

Please help. Thanks, and best wishes.

Try to think logic: if you don't set up your new domain pointing to your website who else will do it? cool.gif
