This is getting ridiculous now. It should never take any hosting this long, free or not, to fix an ftp issue. I'm a patient person and totally understand and tolerate server problems, but this length of outage is completely unacceptable for any service. It wouldn't be so bad if we actually had any updates from the admins about the progress of the issue, but we haven't even had a single acknowledgement that there is a problem or if it's even being looked into... It looks as though they are ignoring the issue - which I certainly hope not.

hello, i followed the instructions on how to ftp, using firezilla but all i get is this over and over....

If you take a look at the earlier posts, you can find out that everybody have (more or less) the same problem due to the lasting misbehaviour of the FTP hosting.

my account ftp account info is:
* FTP address: sportschannel.vndv.com * FTP username: sportschannel I can login to my control panel for sportschannel.vndv.com with my password... but I cannot login to the ftp with the same password. I error my ftp client gives me is: Status: Connecting to 207.210.86.253:21... Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message... I don't think FileZilla has those options. |

This is getting stupid now. I have been patient, but this is beyond a joke now. Almost two weeks and FTP has been completely unusable. I had such a high opinion of Zymic too...

hmmm I'm having the same issues with the vndv.com domain. It connects to the server, accepts my username, but hangs on the password and then times out. I'll try using the built in control panel file manager, but if this persists, I'm going to have to see about using a new host.
EDIT: yeah right, the file manager is crap because you can only upload one file at a time. this sucks. Any chance there's an update on it? EDIT 2: Ok I tried connecting a few more times and it connects, but when I try t upload files, it says "Too many connections (2) from this IP". Yeah, no. I've only connected once. |

There's so much I've wanted to do and haven't been able to because of it. I would normally have switched providers by now, but I want to give Zymic as much a chance as possible as they seem to provide what seems to be the best service (and I like the community the most). I'm trying to upload using iWeb 2009 by entering the ftp info, but it never works! help! it says this: There was an error communicating with the FTP server. Try again later, or check with your service provider. help! why wont it work ever.
