Hello, I am hoping someone will be able to help me. I have recently set up my account with Zymic and have installed Wordpress using the tutorials located on this forum. I have managed to do this, and install the desired theme, the problem I am having is, when I start to upload photographs to the site, it is saying that Safe Mode is enabled, and won't allow me to upload the photograph.
Can you tell me how to turn Safe Mode Off, I have already checked and changed the permissions of the required directories for the theme, but still won't allow access to upload. I have even tried to upload the photographs via FTP, still no joy. Can someone please help me. Thanks J |

Yah, I'm having the same issue. I searched WP forums for an answer and tried everything they suggested, I changed permissions, the "Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders" option was already unchecked (but I still tried checking then unchecking it) and while the default it "wp-content/uploads" I've tried manually typing that in as the destination foldre for uploads. I also tried uploading the picture via the FTP with no luck.
I get this error Warning: copy() [function.copy]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is [my number] is not allowed to access /www/zymichost.com/n/u/n/nunziosnj/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/uploads owned by uid 2001 in /www/zymichost.com/n/u/n/nunziosnj/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 348 Warning: copy(/www/zymichost.com/n/u/n/nunziosnj/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/Site-menu-page-01.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/zymichost.com/n/u/n/nunziosnj/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 348 15 anybody know what's going on? is there something I haven't tried yet? I am willing to trouble shoot from the beginning and retry things I say I've already done since I might have done them wrong. |

I just went onto the irc and they directed me the second post of the WP install thread http://www.zymic.com/forum/index.php?s=&am...st&p=110037 It's the "back door method" In the WP install there was already a folder named "uploads" but for whatever reason it doesn't work. Just make a new folder and direct your files to be uploaded there (current version of WP had settings > media not general) Rather annoyed that I have to use a work around but whatever.

Fix is outlined in WordPress tutorial on the Zymic forums. Please search the forums before opening a new thread.
