Sorry that's a bit too bloated, but I think we could substitute something similar, e.g. offer some programs which auto install within a click of a button. I had been thinking of this idea for: wordpress, phpbb, ... Yeah, I'd be cool with that. Some people(mainly bloggers who don't really know how to code HTML/CSS) would see that as a godsend. |

Hey Jack, wouldn't this make sense to put this as a sticky?
Anyways, some people around here have been asking if they could change the first parts of their domains. Such as blah.zxq.net to mysite.zxq.net. Or if they could possibly change the domain that their site resides on from mysite.zxq.net to mysite.zzl.org. |

Yes, this has been said before, but what's the security concerns? Curiosity demands the question be asked. With sockets enabled, bots and proxies can be setup. Additionally, sockets can be used for sending mail which circumnavigates the mail function and again creates an issue of outgoing spam. |

I wouldn't mind seeing a feature that automatically installs certain (obviously free) software. As aforementioned. Would be useful. WordPress and phpBB3 would definitely be the more popular DBs to install lol. Unless you have IPB/vBulletin but then, if you can afford that, why the hell would you be using a free host?

Well, what if they bought vBulletin/IPB and spent with almost all money so he needed a free host, perhaps? Anyway, I'd like to see the whole File Manager in Ajax like you could move a file/folder in a folder without reloading the page. Once again, they'll use FTP anyway but hey it'll make the non-FTP users' lives easier. Remove a border in the frame at the website statistics. |

Ajax hosting account would be pretty sweet. But if they did it, make an option to revert it back to the standard way (for dialup/low internet connection users, remembering that Ajax can be useless on slow connections).
Also, I'd never get vB/IPB if I knew I couldn't afford hosting afterwards. There's just no point. Besides, phpBB3 works good for me (I wouldn't mind vB though lol). |

I suggest that they could pick Ajax or no Ajax.
No Ajax is default. |

Well it would be great if we could have:
-ssl. -pop3/smtp (at least pop3). -custom error pages. -HTTP basic auth . Either trough .htaccess or maybe you guys could make a script to the file manager that would add the appropriate Directives in a file included by httpd.conf. -subdomains. -more idle time in each ftp session.Im always getting disconnected after a minute or so(not realy a feature but at least i dont start a new thread |

SSL to what?
SMTP is disabled, what is pop3? Custom errors page is already on the features. There are sub domains.. Do you mean sub sub domains? |
