The Arctic ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot, according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consul Ifft, at Bergen, Norway.
Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and explorers, he declared, all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone. Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met with as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes. Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm. Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared. Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts, which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds. Monthly Weather Review for November 1922 More co2 = faster plant growth(It's airborne plant food). Now the environmental population controllers want to take it away and starve us to death. |

Global warming is a very real threat to us. Even as more people are beginning to realize the threat that global warming is; it is absolutely unacceptable that the governments across the globe have failed to reach any sort on consensus.
Here is an an article that explains some of it http://blogs.the-american-interest.com/wrm...d-planet-earth/ |

speaking of lame... No, not lame. I'm an civil engineer/environmental engineer. I've done projects in over 12 countries including projects with the US army board of engineers and I make over half a million dollars a year. I think I know whether there is global warming or not. And there isn't any. Just because something scientifically possible doesn't mean it happened. Big bang theory is valid. It can happen. It could have happen. But it simply didn't happen. |

OK dude, you're a rich engineer therefore you should know about climate. Whatever you say. There is no global warming. All those nations that signed the Kyoto Accord are full of crap. THe IPCC, winner of the Nobel Prize, is full of crap. The polar icecap are doing just fine. The documented increases in global temeratures over the 20th century are a complete fabrication. Whatever you say. |

i believe that everything that is happening in the world right now is somewhat like mother nature's revenge. people were supposed to take good care of her, not destroy her. as the result, we have global warming with its babies the flood, earthquakes and etc.

we've had weather around 50-60 degree one day and the next day we get hit by harsh snow storm. It's really awkward.

Global warming is generally happening, it isn't something you'd feel the effect of in your life time. However it is happening, despite what republicans think.

I think we should step up against global warming and responsible for it, and avoid precautions from our side too.

Yes it's really starting sign of global warming. Now, I'm getting kinda worried about the future generations. They are the ones who will take the consequences that this generation created.
