Hello, new to Zymic and using Filezilla to upload my files. So are mp3 files allowed?
Here's what I get when I try to upload an mp3 file.

you would need to read http://www.zymic.com/knowledge-base/ftp.html cause it will tell you where you can get it so that is why i gave it to you on the IRC

I'm a new user ,and weak English too. So if my spelling poor forgive me.
I was using FileZilla and uploaded my CMS zip file , It upload so long time.
how could I understand my file is real upload or not.After one day , I called my
web page but the default page was occur.
In my local host I can configure my CMS webpage , Now real hosting
I don't know how I do . Please share me your knowledge , big brothers from here.
Another one I want to use my SQL Database be "_utf8 " ,Could I ?
How to use this C pannel ? Please explain .

It takes me about 20 seconds to upload a 20KB html file.. Are there any issues at the moment or is it just traffic?

traffic so just increase your timeout to 120 and you will be fine

ftp is very slow takes forever to upload anything i have a fast upload and still takes hours and i constantly get disconnected

Hi, I have problem with uploading akeeba backup files for my joomla webpage. They are broken into several files, each of them is about 10 MB. I can only upload one of them, the one with the extension *.jpa. Other files have extension *.j01, *.j02 etc. and when I try to upload them a get this message:

QUOTE
553 Filetype not allowed. File site-localhost-20120416-193712.j01 won't be saved.


Is there any other way to upload such file?

Other thing is that the only file I have succesfully uploaded (one with *.jpa extension) have 6 MB on my computer... and 700 kB on server. I've tried to upload it several times and each time Filezilla shows me that whole process was succesful, but file on the server has 700kB. What's wrong?

yea .j01 and .j02 isnt allowed to upload on the system so you will have to request it on our allow/disallow post

Ever since I added a custom domain to my site, I haven't been able to connect on Filezilla with my usual host and username. It keeps coming up with this:

Status: Resolving address of crashcourseinweirdal.zxq.net
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NODATA - No address associated with nodename".
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

I'm having trouble uploading files, every time I end up with empty files at the server. Downloading and browsing are fine.
Also, I noticed that at the control panel it says I'm using 0 / 6000 MB (I'm certain that I'm using more), maybe it is related to this issue?

have you tired to refresh the FTP and the counter is disable so it will always say that

Thanks Daniel, I didn't know it was disabled. I did try refreshing the FTP before, but didn't change anything.
Well, I went out to lunch, and now it's working again. Go figure...
