you just need to increase your timeout on your FTP Client to 120 and you will be fine and dont star out the site name and the user if you are asking for support

Changing to 120 really helped thanks.
Now it doesn't stop uploading, but still uploads very slow. Earlier It was like a second, I didn't change anything and don't know what is wrong.. Files are small size and shouldn't take a lot of time to upload... |

I am sure from efforts with different FTP programs and also testing my upload speeds using a wireless USB modem with o2i.e. not using the office broadband, that the problem lies in my computer's Network settings.

That logging only applies if you're using the terminal portion of the program. For normal FTP transfers it doesnt appear to be applicable.

I finally got it all uploaded, just left it running in the background as I did other stuff RL and otherwise. I had to run a reupload to get it all as something got missed somehow, but I told it to only overwrite if files were different so that finished in about an hour or two I think and fixed my problem with the files not being there or being writeable. (Though I was also trying to change permissions to what they should be and that may have helped too.)
