Ok, I was just doing my usual 20 mile morning bike ride but half way through a huge storm caught up with me. Rain, thunder, lightning, entire road was about 5 inches underwater, and a miserable me. Anywho, I have a bike radio on my bike so I can listen to music while I ride (illegal to wear earphones on cycling trail). When I was just about home it had dawned on me that I had a higher chance of getting hit by lightning than normal. So I want to know if I was right...My theory was that since I had my radio on, a large amount of electromagnetic waves were being sent directly to my bike. I want to know if its possible for the lightning to catch the electromagnetic waves and follow the trail directly to my bike (probably killing me...).

Yes I did, and from past experiences they are just going to say "it got wet there isn't anything we can do about it". Because insurance won't cover wet phones and the only place I know that can do any kind of repairs are corporate stores and even then I'm sure they won't bother. It's a business and they want you to buy a new phone. What I suggest is getting one from a friend or off ebay. Then just take your sim card out and put it in the new one. |
