I have the database installed, the php script installed.
When I go to http://bea912er.uuuq.com/install.php and enter in the proper information for The site URL, followed by a trailing slash: http://bea912er.uuuq.com and The full path to your site root on your disk, followed by a trailing slash: /www/uuuq.com/b/e/a/bea912er/htdocs/ as well as the other information (name/email) I get a 404 page not found error. So I logged into the PhPMYAdmin to see if i could find any issues and noticed this at the bottom of the page Connection for controluser as defined in your config.inc.php failed. My config file was generated by the script itself and installed correctly and I can log in to get to http://bea912er.uuuq.com/install.php So, I'm missing something or not seeing it. All CHMOD's are set to 777 as specified (at least as far I can tell) Any clues? thanks river ps...ill be on all night trying to get this fix..Deadline for full site launch Friday |

you can ignore the error message from the phpmyadmin page. The site url should only be http://bea912er.uuuq.com/

so apparantly..they don't support their own hosting company.
After working for 16 hours trying to solve this and no way to contact the site support outside this bulletin board, I've given up and moving on. How do I delete my account ...and to think I was going to upgrade to Premium... No way! |

Perhaps you should read your other thread...
The statement that we only have the forum for support is completely unfounded. We have live Irc chat, see the link in my signature? Thirdly, 3rd party software should be supported by the developer, we primArily support getting scripts to work on the hosting, this is free hosting and the staff and members work on a voluntary basis, so be thankful for the help that has been given and stop being obnoxious. |
