Everytime I try to test connection I put everything in, and it keeps saying access denied and the password is right someone please help.

You forgot to set the permissions between the database user and the database.

In Step 6:
You said to Open the folder and upload the smf folders in there by unzipping them and then selecting all the unzipped files and dragging them into the folder:
But where is smf folders?

Could not connect to the database, see error message below.
Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql.hosting.zymic.com' (110)

what it is its your pass is wrong and make sure your user is something like 123456_user

Perso à l'étape 16, celle que je redouté le plus c'est finalement bien passé...

Pour info j'ai eu le même souci que certain mais par rapport au tuto j'ai procédé comme ça :
  1. name database :xxxxxxx_zzl_phpbb
  2. username 465456_phpbb
  3. password xxxxxx

Je n'est par contre pas utiliser "filezilla" pour transférer le dossier phpbb, mais plutôt utilisé "cyberduck" plus simple et plus rapide

Hey, great tutorial.

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my problem - I've done everything up to atage 13, but I just keep betting a 404 error when I try to get to www.-mypagehere-.99k.org/phpbb

I'm convinced I've followed all the steps correctly.

I did use iWebs to make my index page, has this messed it up somehow?
