Sorry to bother with such a noobish question but... I am trying to upload my my site but then it asks me for a directory in my files. What is a directory and how do create/get one? If anyone could tell me I would be ever so grateful!

A directory is just a folder. If you're using an FTP program that's asking for a directory to upload to, then use "/" (without the quotes).
