You can all call me by my name, Brandon. I am new to Zymic web-hosting and so far I am loving it here. Even though at the moment uuuq.com - is having some technical difficulties and my website is down because of that I completely understand that technology breaks sometimes.

Anyway, I am a web designer/programmer. I am currently going for my PhD in Computer Science. Love to design templates so if anyone ever needs assistance or is stuck on any errors/issues, you can just let me know I do not bite.

PHP has also always been a favorite language for me. I've been a PHP Programmer for over 4 years now so I am pretty familiar with doing many many things w/ the language, I love it. I am a perfectionist I do not like developing half a** templates and rigging my scripts, I try to be as professional as possible.

But anyways, thanks for having me here and you can be sure you will be seeing a lot of me as I get to know many of the current members of the zymic community.

Thanks,
Singod

Hi Brandon (Singod),
I don't want to sound facetious, but is that pronounced Sin'god or Sing'od (a little snicker, sorry - I'm laughing with you, not at you).
Welcome to Zymic, my name is Douglas William (Doug) I know you'll love being here - these members are a terrific lot - As a matter of fact the BEST aspiring and novices and students and professionals I've ever had the pleasure to be associated with on the internet since the days of the 300/1200 bps Bulletin Board Services (BBS's). I'm honored ever so humbly to be here.
I'm not much of a designer and I'm not much of an artist but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. I create all of my own graphics through variety of programs and do final manipulation (99%) in ImageReady (mostly jpg and gif) but I do have to admit there are somethings on the internet (like the signature below) that I just get slapped together in minutes after repeated screen capture(s) just to last for a few days and then poof!
I have no real knowledge of the php (for that matter anything beyond basic htm(l), I bought new: a Complete Idiots Guide To HTML, circa 1997, that gets me through the laugh.gif rough stuff) language/code but I have already begun to take baby steps in that direction - but nothing (php) in the web and my code is unclean. I'm the unclean - geez, I hope that don't stick - - - - - - - - - - - hunter.gif
If you are (or me, or zymic) still around (I don't know the future and most of my best laid plans get behind schedule because I'm given to spontanaity, i.e., I don't live life by a watch or clock or day) I'd most likely want to take you up on your offer of assistance of getting through some rough spots of/in learning php, it is not happening right away and I'll book/subject read, create documents/notes to gain knowledge and do the practical hands-on research & development to gain understanding. I'll stop now I'm getting out of control on this . . .

Welcome.
