Hi,
I'm using free zymic hosting, and today I made a feedback form using php mail function. But to test, if I submit the feedback form after filling up it, it shows the following error : QUOTE If you are the owner of this website, outgoing mail functionality is not on by default; please purchase this option by joining http://livechat.zymic.com and sending a message of '!purchasemail' -- You will then receive a private message on livechat with further instructions. Please help me with this. |

You cannot use the php mail() function on your free hosting account as we have disabled it. However, for a one time fee of $10, we can enable that feature for you.

To keep us alive in this market, we need to make this a premium feature. If we just enable it to every user our servers will be extremely slow and might require us to purchase more and more servers which is not possible for us at the moment (we are a free hosting provider after all).
Yes we do accept PayPal. To get our PayPal address, please go to our livechat and type "!purchasemail". The reason why we don't post the address to the public is to prevent spam. Hope you understand. |

It's very little to do with financial gain, more to do with with spam and blacklisting, if people are willing to pay the small fee, they're are less likely to be using the service for ill gain, if we had people using the server for sending spam, the server then gets blacklisted, which then stops people being able to receive mail from the server until we're removed from that blacklist.

It's a one time fee, $10, so I think its cheap enough.
