I'm with everyone else. the .vndv ftp is just slow like crazy. I'm trying to upload some files for a forum but it's just murder on my connection.

Hi!
I can't connect to my ftp server. FTP address: winww.vndv.com FTP username: winww Password are correct. I use the program FileZilla Log: Waiting for retry ... Status: Resolving IP for winww.vndv.com Status: Connecting to 207.210.86.253:21 ... Status: Failed to connect to "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Error: Unable to connect to server What should I do? I think the problem is not only my ? Sorry that is not theme I also can not create a database in the Control panel (in MySQL Database Management) I click the button "Create databases name" - Page refreshes and nothing please help  --------------------- Sorry for my bad english (I am a foreigner) |

Hello. i got this little problem. i connect to FTP but i cant get past password. I know i entered it correctly. It just stuck there and after ~30 sec says :
Error: Connection timed out Error: Could not connect to server Any suggestions? :] |

I'm using gftp on Xandros Linux eeepc, connecting from a cafe in Thailand, how's that for a config!
But I did the same thing from this same place lots of times, and always OK, today I"m getting 'connection refused'. From the post above, user Vladimir, it looks as though the cafe owner changed settings not to allow ftp? Not sure, but he's not here now, I can't ask him. I'll try somewhere else another day, and post again if there are still issues. Urhh, frustrating! |

I've done the hosting tutorial and subsequently downloaded/tried using FileZilla, CoreFTP, and the file manager on Zymic but I'm not seeing a new index or any of my uploaded files on my website, actually it's still the congrats page. I'm doing something wrong or missing a step, but can't figure out what.
The FileZilla interface that is popping up doesn't look like the one on your tuturial - it's just a split screen that says it's connected up top. What should I be doing once my files are uploaded? Thanks! |

I'm unable to use the control panel file manager nor connect via FileZila. With web control panel, it doesn't show the directories and FileZila is not able to connect, it keeps telling me I'm in a queue but disconnects me right a way (as opposed to waiting for the 2 mins time out).
Any possible help would be appreciated. |

Many people are asking about this in the hosting irc server and apparently it says it somewhere in the forum. I have tried all of my browsers and it definitely looks like this cause parts of the site have been offline and/or slow to load. |

Sorry to be a pain, but as a NOOB, I thought I'd make sure I was doing this right...
I have filezilla, the user name is cultofmoo and the host is 90k.org. So I've read that the host is cultofmoo.90k.org and the username is cultofmoo_90k is that correct? I just cannot get the ftp thingy to connect and I want to make sure I've got the settings right I get the following: Status: Waiting to retry... Status: Resolving address of cultofmoo.90k.org Status: Connecting to 68.178.232.99:21... Status: Connection attempt failed with "ETIMEDOUT - Connection attempt timed out". Error: Could not connect to server Any help is appreciated |

Ok... I have read the tutorials and everything.. And i can't get this to work.. I am trying to host an OTA for a blackberry theme. What i did was uploaded all my codes and jad. file on here and put them in their own folder. Then i went and read things off google and still can't get it to work. I am using a windows computer. Can somebody explain to me on how to do this?
