Why this ftp server is liminted 2 min? i can't upload lastet joomla (about 40mb)...

its not the server inactivity time but you need to increase your timeout to 120 and you will be ok

I have an FTP issue. the FTP doesn't connect. CODE Command: PASS ******** Response: 530 Login authentication failed Error: Critical error Error: Could not connect to server the information i entered: Host: *user*.zxq.net Username: *user*_zxq Password: *mypassword* Port: I tried "21" and nothing Bad english, sorry about that. I have only been able to get FileZilla to work twice and the other times it reads
"Error: Connection closed by server Error: Could not connect to server" Get it to work? |

Normally, using the ftp thing works perfectly fine for me, (I use CoreFTP LE) but today (all my zymic hosted sites are down) and it gives me this error message:
Can't establish connection --> www.theexplosivehorse.zxq.net:21 @ Tue Jun 12 10:49:13 2012 (10054-38) An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. Forcibly closed?! It does that when I try to connect to any of them. Anyone know what's going on? |

Are there general problems with ftp at present, it's not clear from the forums, and twitter looks months out of date. I'm getting :-
Status: Connecting to 67.220.217.235:21... Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Error: Could not connect to server Am I looking in the right place for service updates ?? |

Hey guys, I've been with Zymic for probably a few years now, maybe 3 years? Anyway, I just created another new account website and the FTP keeps kicking me out. I'm using WinSCP, and also used CoreFTP LE before as well. :/ I guess I'm getting the same problems as everyone else here as of yesterday I suppose? Is it maintenance or is the server down? Let me know thanks.

try net2ftp.com in your browser and see if it will work on there

well to the first question, its cause your network is blocking FTP and its not net2ftp.com or Zymic its just your end
