i was updating my files with filezilla and then it started saying no disk space left on device. could that be the case? the total amount is less than 50 kb right now.. i tried net2ftp and after upload i could not see the uploaded file..

This is so strange, I was uploading some files too. And for some reason, the last file I tried to upload didn't do ANYTHING. I used net2ftp, I used FireFTP, and WinSCP. Nothing! What did appear was this strange file: .pureftpd-upload.4fe10ee1.15.348b.2371678
The file I was trying to upload was called poem-sin.php. What happened...  Why did that mysterious file upload instead? Can't seem to delete that weird file either.

yea that is a server file so an admin needs to delete it for you

How come I wasn't able to upload the file poem-sin.php? I uploaded a poem-help.php right before that, and it was fine. So I'm not sure what happened :/ It just won't upload poem-sin.php, and always immediately replaces itself with that server file. What do I dooo

Hi, is there any solution to solve the uploading speed?
Thats too much slow to upload a 10MB file, it takes me a whole day, and sometimes the connections fail and have to wait minutes or until next day.. |

first increase your timeout to 120 and second, its just not you on our FTP System, there are a lot of other people connected as well and that will slow down our network and our servers

Was trying to upload the Joomla installation files last night and I managed to get all of about 200/4171 files uploaded in 8 or so hours. I continually see:

Fixed my last issue, Now I created a new free domain through Zymic, and the ftp wont upload the full Wordpress directory. all the files appear to be there, but large portions of them are missing. Ive re-uploaded Wordpress three times already and everytime the full file won't upload. Is it something wrong on my end?

I'm getting
"Host is not communicating for more than 15 seconds..." using winSCP. I'm 100% sure that I have the right details, and I have another server registered so I know the program works, but I have no idea why the zymic one doesn't... |

Hello,
I was in the process of installing Joomla 1.5 using CoffeCup but got a 500 error. I then decided to start over so I deleted it all to install Joomla 2.5 using Filezilla but it times out and reconnects until it reaches a too many connections error. Thanks. |
