I'm having some problems with FTP using FireFTP (Firefox plugin).
I get this: CODE 220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [privsep] [TLS] ---------- 220-You are user number 22 of 150 allowed. 220-Local time is now 23:16. Server port: 21. 220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server. 220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity. USER prueba@zxq.net 331 User prueba@zxq.net OK. Password required PASS (password not shown) 530 Login authentication failed Unable to make a connection. Please try again. I think the problem lies in the account managment:  |

The CHMOD still doesn't work. I still get the error:

CHMOD allows me to modify it 2 directories down but no more than that.

i just registered my web hosting account and i want to use FTP to put some files there. I use Mozilla Composer and there i need this informations: 1. site name ??? this is my real site name ?? this is like : http://manu-tmu.zxq.net/ ?? 2. publishing adress what i have to write there ?? 3. HTTP adress of your home page ; is OK if here i write : http://manu-tmu.zxq.net/ ?? Please help me! I don't really know english so sorry for the mistakes i probably made! Thank's a lot! |
