I m new to dis.. using aceFTP to connect to web server but i get authentication error. Sum1 out there can help me in how to fill da login details??

I have hosted a phpBB 3 forum. Today i noticed an error like follows
CODE General Error Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions. But when i was checking the particular directory's permission it has been already set to 777 and it was working fine yesterday. I tried with ftp client to delete the files inside the cache directory it says, CODE Response: 550 Could not delete data_cfg_template_black_pearl.php: Read-only file system I couldn't change the directory/file permissions even. CODE Response: 550 Could not change perms on ctpl_admin_acp_main.html.php: Read-only file system i tried to delete the files using ZHCP File Manager. But still same problem i'm facing now. Besides, everything being transferred to new servers soon which will eliminate nearly all problems

Hi everyone,
Having FTP problem with my Account. gemsut99.99k.org Yesterday, could not even stay connected. Today, can connect properly but when try to upload files, gives "critical transfer error" If I use ZHCP File Manager in Control Panel it gives error, "failed to open stream: Read-only file system in /var/wkscript/www/fileman.jsp on line 883" I checked and the folder permissions are 755. Everything was fine, day before yesterday. Because of this problem my web site is not accessible anymore. Any help will be much appreciated, thanks. |

Mine isn't working correctly either. But my problem is different. When I edit a page and click save, it appears to save the information but it doesn't when I reload everything. Can someone please help me?

Ok all:
Problem is just that the server has locked any edits to any of the saved files. it's disk is either full, broken, or too busy my guess is however that the admins are currently switching to the promised new server cluster. we'd bear with them, and just hope it'll all get better... am i right or? well at least i hope this'll all be fixed soon;) thank you! piotography.zxq.net <- dunno why i put that here though:p |

I registered today. And the problem is that I can't upload my site throe ftp... Using many clients: totalcommander,cuteftp etc... All data like login and pass is ok ( from the e-mail that recived..., also I read the ftp guide) Please cheack this out webbl.vndv.com The error is: 530 Login authentication failed...
