Hi everyone. I've gotten the problem during the installation of the Joomla's template (related to statistics).
1. I read the post about the basic settings of Joomla. 2. I read ALL posters related to this problem. 3. I've fixed the code in "folder.php" 4. Just for testing issues I've changed the permission of all the directories to 777. 5. I've established the connection with FTP in Joomla's Global configurations. 6. I've checked the "configuration.php" file. BUT. All the steps mentioned above didn't help me. I still get the error: # It was not possible to copy the selected file. # JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file Do you have any idea what's going on? I will appreciate for your help. Thanks in advance. |

Hi! It's me again. I see that this problem is related to the SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. My uid and script's uid are diferent. That's why it can't copy the files from one directory to the other directory. The problem is located at line 119, file "file.php".
Any ideas? Is this problem of my side, or Zymic's side? Thanks again. |

Ok. I got the problem. This is a SAFE MODE.
It means that I can't install the modules for Joomla 1.5.22. It's a sad story... You can close the topic. There is no solution. |

Hi everybody. I've just found another way how to solve the problem. However, I'm wondering if somebody from the staff will explain how to install the extra modules in Joomla. Is it possible? Thanks in advance. I hope somebody will reply.
Bye. |
