I was just wondering, does anyone have any tips for educating one's self online about current american politics? I know how to go about it, but I've pretty much just used the net for gaming and social networking up until now. Getting into the design field, I see the internet ain't what it used to be and opposed to using the net for porn and chat like half the people I know, I really want to educate myself on what's what in politics today ever since watching some of the new Glenn Beck webisodes out there. I don't want a bias oppinion, just the facts, and if anyone has any links or sites I can go to in order to get the info it'd be much appreciated.

Because of the skew and bias of the media these days, the best option would be to get several differing opinions on the same topic. Despite how bias each opinion is, it is bound to contain some truth of the topic. For example, if you read a story on FOX (Republican Bias), go to NBC (Democrat Bias) and find a story about the same thing and read that too. Then go to ABC (Less bias than other two but I believe slightly favors Republicans) and then go to CBS (Also less bias than FOX and NBC but I believe also slightly favors Republicans).

A good indicator of a media outlet's (or a specific journalist's) bias is its use of the words "Liberal" or "Conservative". Usually, a Republican Bias source will refer to Democrats as "Liberals" and a Democrat Bias source will refer to Republicans as "Conservatives".

The sad truth is that there is a reason that most younger adults get their News from Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert. That reason is that they generally try to stay as least bias as possible. Although it is important to remember that their shows are Satire and, while even satirizing news, bias still exists. For the most part, the News they provide is actual News. Jon Stewart's show does slightly favor the Democratic Party but, in fairness, he does treat his Republican Guests much better than most Democrat-Bias News Outlets.

For those reasons, it also doesn't hurt to read a little into what Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert have to say about a topic. Although their information is plagued with satire, there is still just the same amount of truth in what they have to say than any bias News Outlets.


If you want the most accurate News, you need a bunch of differing points of view and you need to filter through all of it to find the similarities in all of those stories. The things you find consistent in the opposing News outlets are usually truth.

complicated, but it is more the culture, western culture if you like the one is limping, to be more clear, somehow the mind has being operating up-side-down, these events that are taking place are somehow correcting this dislocation of perception, this takes place on the subconscious which is reality, the conscious is not reality. as the mind reorients itself it returns to his natural habitat in sync with nature. out of this the human animal humanizes itself.
now you are more a thinking machine than a conscious one. this is done in order to have you work and them purchase items, we call this capitalism, or rather modern capitalism, the idea is that you get addicted to objects and once you get addicted we developed new objects once every 6 months you trow away your old IPOD and buy a New one, this creates lots of waste, reason why they are made not to last long. but them you cannot longer exist without them, the addiction has work, so you must work to pay your bills and this objects. once the addiction is spread works like a virus, face-book is an example, them the rest is what you experience daily. however once you get in sync with nature you do not need the objects neither you become addicted, but rather you evolve, into a higher level of consciousness. all this objects tech gadgets etc are basically in your own mind and they exist thanks to your imagination which is what all of us at once desire. however to be free is not easy and quite complicated to rip apart all that conditioning but is not impossible, how! it is simple it takes seconds it is just a question of perception understanding and awareness. but happens instantly.

You'll not find anything online that compares with the real thing... Run for an Office. By running for an elected position in government you will have the learning experience of a lifetime.
A successful politico is one who is in, or has, a constant insatiable need of public adoration and public attention that does nothing for an excessive payout and cares nothing about the general masses present and/or future protection, security, and/or well being - this is a direct and stark contradiction to a statesman. It is the dregs of society that are driven to political affiliation addiction.
There are so many avenues of political adventure so advatangeous in removing the substantial sovereign intrinsic and physical and mental wealth from and of the unaware and poorly publically educated masses in the United States, the militaristic FEDERAL Occupation de facto Democratic form of government entity (not the United States of America, the civil Sovereign Rule de jure Republican form of government entity).
This is the tip of one of the huge proverbial icebergs that has gashed widely and continues to rip away the metal of a once great nation below a proverbial waterline. (There is no one like a politico, i.e., One that can be elected by (or, through a) delegated authority that will devise craft confidence to exercise power(s) and/or right(s) and/or privilege(s) beyond lawful delegated constitutional authority.)

This is but one grain of the sand of the eastern shore, if that.

Politics is a very complicated issue, it is much better to keep your eyes and ears open, study the law, watch the news and read the newspaper. If you are attempting to help the country to get better, the best way you can do is to make yourself better so you can help any individuals who need help and you are not a burden to the society.

having a good knowledge about law is the first key to accomplish this mission.
its good to make some responsible citizen but it matters more how responsible we are towards our duties.

the addiction has work, so you have to plan to pay your bills and this objects. already the addiction is advance works like a virus, face-book is an example, them the blow is what you acquaintance daily. about already you get in accompany with attributes you do not charge the altar neither you become addicted, but rather you evolve, into a college akin of consciousness.
