Adsense is quite a good tool in getting the word out. I have been developing websites for years and I didn't get them to stage they are today through paying someone. I went to different forums/boards and asked people to review. When you ask people to review your site, they have to visit it to see how it is. And there is always someone who is interested in going through more than the first page. Some even become a full time member. Through this method I gained many members for my AMuZ.US website. Since there are hundreds of boards out there, this is a great way to help your site gain some popularity. Also remember that the number of link backs you have to your site, the better your site's PR and Alexa ranking will be (somewhat). Another good tool to add is the alexa rank widget to your site. Believe it or not, ever since I added the widget to my HEOP.org website, it gained 200% in traffic. Within the three months I jumped 2 million ranks. Just keep doing so and you will do well.
Also if you haven't noticed, I also post my sites name and url in my signature in TEXT format. This way search engines will have some refferal from this site. And to go even further, I also embedded one of my website into my post with it's actual name and link. Strategies like that will help you advance in rank and gain popularity. Another big thing is the look and feel of your website. Make sure they are attractive and usable. If they are unique that's a plus. Everyone wants something cool and attractive. If you see an ugly store, would you buy it? No. Same goes for websites. SHHHH....these are my little secret tricks. |

hi guys sorry fr answering so late , aparently SEO isnt as simple as i thought abd takes a lota time ...... so far im thinking of taking these steps:
1) change my sites TITLE tag to a much larger one With more details, from VILLA ELLIE to ==> <Villa Ellie Corfu island South accommodation> 2) adding meta tags to my index like so : <head> <title> Villa Ellie Corfu island South accommodation </title> <meta name="Villa Ellie south Corfu" content="Welcome to my site! This is the site for Villa Ellie in corfu island." /> <meta name="Villa Ellie south Corfu " content="villa, ellie, corfu" /> <meta charset="UTF-8" /> </head> 3) adding more keywords to my sites index page with bold letters with H1 ,H2 tags 4) and then re submmiting my site to google.......again........and waiting but im stil not sure if im going the right way....... |
