Hi there,

I'm wondering if anyone can assist with this error that has appeared on my site (hosted by Zymic) that doesn't allow the link to be shared and instead comes up with this message:

"403 Forbidden!
http://hosting.zymic.com/403/
The address you have entered is not open to the public, (This may be caused by not having a index.html file in your root directory)."

However when typing the address into a new window, it arrives at the index page with no issues. I don't understand why this is occurring if I have an index.html file that is accessible, but I'm not able to share the address without it coming up with an error sign.

It's essential that I be able to share my new site especially in the next couple of days to coincide with an event.

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

W.A.

Thanks, how do I do this? Am designing it in Dreamweaver, have never had an issue like this with any other site made on there.

If it means putting an index.html file in the main folder 'Site' of files to upload from Dreamweaver, it's already there.

Thanks, but it is still coming up with the same error message. I have uploaded index.html to '/' folder.

Are there any other possibilities of what it could be? Or suggestions of something to tweak?

Am at a bit of a loss.

I assume you know now why this error occurred, so there's no need for the URL anymore.
