A mighty Dell Dimension 4100

PIII - 733 with 512 MB RAM and 10 GB Hard Drive, 17" Trinitron Monitor, 32MB NVidia TNT Pro - Windows XP.

I wouldn't touch Vista if my life depended on it.

Needless to say with all that power I forego the use of an IDE, and do all my programming using Notepad++, essentiaLLY an enhanced text editor.

Haha... Vista wouldn't even be able to run on that.

That computer needs to be trashed and you should fork out the cash for a new one. You can get one 4 times faster than that for only $250.

Why? So I can run Vista which requires four times the resources? Anyways, Your point is taken. But money is tight and I don't really need a new Box. Sooner or later I will probably need a good IDE though. So I'll have to upgrade.
