How to set-up forums for your website Pick the forum that best suits youThere are many more types of forums but those are the top 3 that I like to use depending on the type of site and look I want. Download the package, and make sure its a stable package not a beta one. Unzip the package and upload it to your site in a new directory called whatever you want (possible /forum/) Once you have finished uploading it all, you should go to your favorite internet browser and go to where you forum is (example.com/forum/) It should lead you to the installation part. These 3 forums come with explanations on what to fill out but I will have screenshots and a explanation from my own head up here soon. Questions are welcome. Hope my small guide was somewhat of help, probably not yet, but should be alot better when I start updating it with new and useful information. |

There are plenty of tutorials on the web. It's a little different than the other forums-you have to configure the settings manually using a text editor.

It's a PHP forum that requires also a Mysql database so I don't know... |

I think you need to go into this more and make it a little more detailed for the users that are new to most of this. It's an ok start though.
