Hi All

I am getting an error every time I try to upload Wikimedia files on my remote server. There are some 22 of them.

includes\zhtable\Makefile.py - error occurred - An FTP error occurred - cannot put Makefile.py. Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Make sure you have proper authorization on the server and the server is properly configured.

you dont need .py files for Mediawiki to work, http://zymickb.tk/ is a great example of Mediawiki working just fine with out the .py files

Hey Thanks for the above input our wiki is now up and running.

We tried to shorten our url with no root access method but it doesn't seems to be working.
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Short..._no_root_access

As of now we are accessing it through www.example.org/media-wiki/index.php (media-wiki is the name of our wiki folder)
We want to shorten it to www.example.org/wiki

Any idea ?

Is there anything specific in Zymic thats preventing me from doing it ?
