Is there any way to password protect an entire folder of my website. I want the index to be accessible to everyone, but another section of the site (in another folder) to be password protected. Any way to do this? Thanks for the help!

you would have to use .htaccess and .htpasswd to do it

Thanks. I have the files, but do you know where exactly I place them on the server. Is it just in the root folder of the one I want to password protect? Thanks for the help, sorry for the noob questions!
