it is important to have relevant back links.
if the forum is relevant to the keyword and your website then it is considered. member to use other forms of off-page SEO too. |

If your back links have really power to drive traffic, Than you may sure get benefits of these links. As per my observation, You can get an advantage of every link which have come from high page rank websites.

If your Backlinks contain good quality then they easily drive the traffic on your site. It is also useful to increase the PR of your site. But low quality Backlinks are not effective.

If you are getting from high page rank forum than it may really effects. Always try to get back links from high page rank and relevant forums for generating back links.

Backlinks are important for SEO because some search engines, especially Google, will give more credit to websites that have a good number of quality backlinks, and consider those websites more relevant than others in their results pages for a search query.

Yes the quality back link can help you to boost the website's rank. If you can generate back link with Do Follow and high PR such as from forum posting and with different others way but back links should be qualitative.

Most of forums have good page rank and getting links from these good page rank site from signature is really good. Moreover forums are having good authority also which is indirectly benefited to signature links of it.

Leaving a forum comments including a link in most relevant post will look good and helps readers for getting more information.Even if the forum is no-follow link sites it has few benefits such as clicks, gains reputation and if the links are organic then your web site can gain page rank huge scary spider benefits.

Forum link can help but also can make you get banned, its depends, google can think that You are just spammer and remove your website, however they are really careful about that because maybe this link on forum was made by Your hmmm lets say enemies
