the best one i've come across is the GIMP that's free, and you just put a different frame on each layer, first layer at the bottom of your layers list, last at the top, then save as .gif it'll come up with a box saying gif doesn't support layers/transparency and then you click "save as animation" if it gives you an error about the colours choose "convert to indexed" that's good, an easy and free way of doing it, and there are a lot of animation tutorials for gimp on sites such as deviantart.com I have tio agree with you there clew... I use gimp and I love it... I am really good with it and I can make awesome animations with it but I would like to start using flash banners... Although I very much dislike the latest version (2.4.6 which uses the picture editing window as the base running program) I would recomend gimp to anyone starting out into picture creating world (I mean like complex pictures)... I find it has a basic and great interface to help begginers create pictures easily and effectily... With its many animation that have been added to the program for you to include in your pictures I think it is the best program out there... also gimp may use some of photroshops brushes if they are a certain file type (which I forget)... well good luck with your banner |

There are many websites and programs that will allow you to make your own banner and provide you with the tools to do so. However, many of these programs have very limited capabilities and aren't worth your time. For example, they might provide you with various banner templates and just allow you to change the text. You may even be limited to the type of font and font size you can use. If you want to make your own free banner, you'll want to look for something with greater flexibility.
A good free banner generator will allow you some control over both your text and the graphical elements of the banner. Although you won't be able to produce the same high impact, eye-catching graphics a professional designer could create for you, you'll be able to save time and money by using a free banner maker to make your own banner online. If you have control over both text and graphical elements of the banner, then you should still be able to produce a unique, quality banner that will attract attention and get people to click on it. Thanks. |
