Okay so for the last 15 minutes, I have been trying to log in using my ftp log in, and the only problem I am having is that the server isn't reading my correct password. I have went to 7 pages, and no one accept machine has addressed the issue with:

I've been trying to connect to filezilla. I can't connect. I always get an error message which is "login authentication failed". I think im typing it the wrong password. Im using the password i have on zymic. Is there another password that i have to use?

Depends what sub domain you use. vndv.com tends to be the slowest because all databases are stored on that server. If you use 99k.org, zzl.org, zxq.net, zymichost.com, or clanteam.com they tend to be quite a lot faster. Connection does not break either. With vndv.com connection tends to break but does reconnect. Also have you thought about you're upload speed. Loads of ISP's never think about upload speeds. Check you upload speed at http://www.speedtest.net/ If you upload speed is lower that 200kbps i recommend you give you're ISP a call and ask for a higher upload speed. They should do it without hesitation. However it may cost a little bit more. |

hey everyone,
im on dreamweaver and im trying to get the FTP workin but it doesnt seem to get me through my FTP address is viann.zzl.org and my username is viann_zzl it doesnt seem to get me anywhere "an FTP error occured - cannot make connection to host. The remote host cannot be found" please help |

My filezilla won't connet it just says:
Could not connect to server Status: Waiting to retry... Status: Resolving address of my-site.clanteam.com Status: Connecting to 67.220.217.230:21... Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Please help! P.S. I am using the free file host plan does this effect it? |

i have this error:
Response: 530 Login authentication failed Error: Critical error Error: Could not connect to server  im 100 percent sure i got all passwords and usernames and all that sh*t right. Can an admin check it for me or something? my website : www.ecomax.99k.org i type in the host: ecomax.99k.org username: ecomax@99k.org and for password i type my HOSTING ACCOUNT PASS not the zymic one... but they are the SAME so it doesnt matter, does it?. Im using Vista i tried many FTP like filezilla, Smartftp and others. I even run the FILEZILLA as admin. nothing helps... im losing hope. |

Hello ! I was having a lot of problems with the FTP access and DW CS3 in a PPC OSX 10.4.11 environment and in order to help others newcomers here in this forum, here are few points to insure that your connection will happen :
- under the site definition,local info, check the option "Links relative to " and choose "Document" - under remote info, check the option "Use passive FTP" - under your OSX System Preferences/Internet&Network/Sharing, make sure you have "FTP Access" enabled - under Finder/Go to Folder, write "etc/" and check with your fav text editor if nothing is blocking you app by re-directing it Hope this helps !
