I uploaded my files and made some changes and uploaded the index a number of times with different changes.
I went out all morning to do some work. Now I want to change something but I am unable to delete, edit or rename the file and I am not able to upload a new file. I get errors. Any clues?
I looked at the permissions and they look OK. I checked all 3 options for permissions for U(ser). That should have made me able to delete, edit or rename it, right?
I don't know what's going on.

Please read the rules, to be able to get any sort of help, you need to provide your domain name, and also a copy/paste screenshot of the errors will help too. Also have you tried SEARCHING the forums for the same error your getting?

are u editing in your control panel or using an external program like dreamweaver or frontpage

That would be the reason, read-only. It seemed like something of that kind. It was so easy to do anyting this morning. That's why I was puzzled when it wouldn't allow me to do anything now.
