Full Version: Server Connecting To Db
well..i have a server that is built using java..and it needs to connect to a database..i setup the database here and the server runs on my computer (test server, not up all the time)...and i need to connect the server to the database any1 help me with the address? ip? etc.?
Isn't possible with Zymic hosting. Remote connects aren't allowed.
The SQL server only allows connections from itself. So you'd have to connect to mysql through your hosted domain here.

is there any other way to do this? and is there a way to host java files on the zymic host?
With zymic, no there is no other way to do this. Why don't you install MySQL on your server?
And what kind of Java files? Server Side java files, or Client Side?

server side files..and have my client connect to it..just need to upload .class files-with the client i could just jar it..but its not for pubilc use yet
