Has anyone been successful at this for me I haven't and just gave up and used coppermine Does anyone have a pre-installed version?

i would look at http://emotest.zzl.org this is a test server for zymic and shows some scripts that work. But im afraid most gallery scripts do not work due to safemode being on...

You could also check the install guide and see what the server needs are for it.

Could not get gallery2 working properly, installation was done, only uploading won't work without errors.

Using coppermine at the moment, only problem i am having right now is manual uploading files looks not to be allowed for users since the temporary upload dir does not allow this.

Looking further at the moment to find a work around for this, else batch upload will be the only way to get pictures online (not a big problem if you ask me)
