Well... there are a couple of images uploaded onto my server that I'm trying to delete... however they're not deleting. Not through FTP or though the File Manager on the site. My site is still in development so there isn't really anything to see, however I would like to know why these files won't delete.
http://carnageheart.vndv.com is the location of my site.
I hope someone can help me with this.

If you use an FTP manager then set the CHMOD to 777.
(FileZilla other FTP programs may differ) You 'right click' and select 'file attributes' and change the number to 777.
If you are in the file manager on Zymic then click the exclamation mark (yellow triangle) and check all the boxes below the file name. And click update.
You should be able to delete them now.

It's not a matter of not knowing how to delete them. The files simply ARENT deleting. The CHMOD is set correctly and I've also tried setting the permissions from the file manager. The files just won't delete.

Well, the issue seems to be resolved, for me at least. I tried a different FTP client and it worked. However still there's the issue of the site's File Manager not being able to delete the files.

I have that problem too sometimes....I use Filezilla most of the times because the zymic CP sometimes doesnt delete them, and sometimes Filezilla doesnt delete them and then most of the times it does delete...

More often than not it's because of an .htacess file if you rename this file, your FTP client can then normally delete the offending folder. In the case of files not deleting, it may be your FTP client. Try refreshing your FTP connection, or trying a new client as some have said. I personally use SmartFTP.

Same problem at me to. I changed the file atributes to 777 with filezilla, but still, i can't delete files, or even upload new ones. Beside that i have another problemwith mysql, i don't know if that is the reason that i can't delete files; i will post the mysql problem in the right section.
Hope it will work soon. Thanks
