Well ive been searching around Zymic, well not really surching just going around post by posts helping some people.. and reading other posts and i see (always) like really all the time... people that are whilling to design stuff for others... people with talent that can do good designs... they usually offer their services for free...

Why not make a big free portfolio for everybody... i mean, everybody wants to produce and design something... well can't someone make a site and everybody submits templates... it can be really good for many people, and good for your portfolio as well...

I dunno.. its just an idea

Well isn't that sorta like competing with Zymic. If so then I'm in. LOL. But I will need to know who the co-workers are and samples of their work. I hate to work with someone who uses a software to slice and code their work using tables.

anyways, who's gonna make the site?

Well its not competing with Zymic... or is it ? Its more over using the people that are inside Zymic to produce something, since i know Zymic is not taking all the templates that are made, or use the people here to upgrade their template database (dunno why... there are so many talented people)

So what i thought of is lets just take what the people here are ready to offer... of course, its gonna be top designs and not regular ones... no tables, also must be validated and original, not from other sites, of course the one that makes the design still owns the right, 2 links must be on the design at the bottom i am guessing... well the designers link and of course the websites link...

If people are really interested i am ready to buy a domain for the site and use my current host to host it...

To answer you directly IamShipon, there are No co workers at the moment i am actually looking for some and if people are interested, if yes than i guess i or we or who ever is in will put their names and we will see what they do, their previous designs and the work they provided on the past.
So basically, there is no team, just an idea and some people interested.

Better have some good quality control.

Nobody wants to sift through 500 pages of bad templates.

I am willing to help and do Valid xhtml/css web templates. Heck i might just bring out a free templates site . I wont be making boring content based templates. More over interesting unique templates.

I'm interested, if you need help, I can also host the portfolio and I dont have any space limit and bandwidth limit .


I can also add my free template to the portfolio, I actually have something like 15 free template(Valid XHTML & CSS) if I'm not wrong and also 5 logo.

I can make the website and code it in php, my idea about the site is people sign up and dowload stuff or add template to the database (when template are added they need to be approved by one of the admins or may be more than one), I think we can also add logo and icon pack to the site.

I just want to help, I'm not taking the lead of the project.

great idea, unfortuantly i dont think my portfolio is up to par compared to the rest of you lol, but if thers any thing i can do to help let me know . I do have a couple suggestions.

Along side of having templates maybe have things like:
-Bgs
-logos
-buttons
-content boxes

Basically things that allow people to create their 'own' templates with just a little help

If interested please join the forums http://shrud.com/forum and post your portfolio and a little something saying why you want to join. I believe it is goi g pretty well and it is kind of structured. So we need good designers and coders and only serious people.

I'll probably be joinging up.

While I may not be the best designer I know if I put alot of work into it I can design something fairly good (I am a go-for-simple kind of guy and i'm sure you'll be getting people who are looking for a simple website template also).

When I finish the design for my next site, I'll post that as my portfolio as it will basically be the only thing I've made by myself in a long long time.

Honestly I think it's a brilliant idea.

The idea has been opened and we are still working on it.
