Hello everyone,

Firstly,I would like to admit that the free webhosting that you provide is amazing and I would like to thank you for that.
Now,on my problem.I have a contact form, created in flash that uses php to send emails.
It seem to work when I publish it on my computer because the actionscript says to go to a second frame,if the send email process was successful.
So if it is successful it says "Thanks for your email".So seems to work fine.
Although,I have uploaded the .php and swf files in the server, and it doesn't work.
Do I have to set any php permissions or do any specific changes on mysql in order to make it work online?
Sorry if my post confuses you.

Thanks in advance. smile.gif

php mail(); has been disabled

Probably doesn't work because the mail function is disabled on Zymic.
Or...I think it is. I don't really use it, so I wouldn't know, but I'm pretty sure it is. xD

Oh,that's sad.I suppose you have your reasons for disabling it.
Well,thanks for the answers.

People would abuse it.
Well, not most people. There are good people around here. o.o
But people could send spam, etc. with it.

I see.
So there isn't other way to include a email form inside an swf I suppose right?

Not unless you can find a free e-mail form provider that will integrate it with Flash for you.

Just remember, flash runs on the client's computer, while emails are sent by the server (website). This means if someone wrote a flash applet to send emails, it really is just sending a message to the server telling it to send the email.
