Full Version: Can I Obtain My Database?
Ok, so Zymic, please don't take it personally that I'm switching hosts. You have been great, but I'm moving to a host owned by a buddy of mine and I want to support him. Since my site is a forum, I don't want to lose all my members and posts when I move to the new host. Would you be so kind to tell me if I can have the database or at least tell me how to transfer the database over?
I really hope you guys can help me out, I love this host and I've recommended it to a lot of my friends.

you can transfer all of the fields of the database by just copying and pasting, but i dont think you can export your database or directly transfer it from zymic. You wont lose anything if you simply (but time taking) copy and paste every field, and then transfer all of the files over. you would however have to change the database e.t.c. from what you put in when you set the forum up.

how do I access all the fields from my database?

gotcha, i saw an export option...will that work?
maybe. im not really too familiar with phpmyadmin...except for databasing. I would try it though
