Hi,

Can someone tell me what's going on with my domain http://animesearchsite.com? I just moved web hosts and it seemed to finally be working earlier today- I added the DNS ns1.vndv.com and ns2.vndv.com to my registrar a few days ago, and added my domain (which I bought) at zymic, and I set up my wordpress and everything seemed good. But now when I try to visit my site (or my original subdomain susieq.vndv.com) it adds "www" to my domain (I bought the domain without the www) and gives a 404 error page.

Any suggestions of things I messed up? Or what to do?

look like that, you are using wrong .htaccess file.
Try to remove your exiting .htacess file.

Just ping your www domain, and i show that, your www domain is ponting to other server, not zymic server.
Because that your DNS is incorrect.
Delete these name:
NS1.NAME.COM
NS2.NAME.COM
NS3.NAME.COM
NS4.NAME.COM

Where is the .htaccess file? I didn't create one myself.

Also my registrar (name.com) says this about the name servers:

"Important: Please Read
ns1.name.com
ns2.name.com

must be entered as "Current" name servers to take advantage of our real time DNS tools and URL forwarding"

and I had them listed when my site was at the old web host. But I'm removing ns2 and ns3 to see if that makes a difference : /. Thanks.
