Hello, I can only upload 1 file, then it disconnects, reconnects to upload the other. This is VERY SLOW and ANNOYING. Can someone please help?

PLEASE DON'T SHOUT! Now then, there are many problems that you could be experiencing to slow the time. Some help is offered from Filezilla's site (free FTP program).

Also, although FTP shouldn't be extremely slow, it can be a bit slow due to other users, etc.

It's horribly slow. If it cannot be fixed, I'll definitely be looking elsewhere. It's very very bad. Takes a whole minute to get the directory listing.

Some days it's faster than others. Just try again later. It took me maybe 15 minutes to upload 1000 ish files (about 6 Mb). Any other server you might switch to, would have similar problems anyway, I'm sure. That is unless you pay for them, and even then.

Well. I am used to paid servers.. I guess that's why. I just don't feel like spending money for sites that don't even get anywhere .

well i dont no how you managed that cause it usually takes me 15 mins to upload 5 ish files (about 15 kb)...It not a matter of the ftp being slow, it just keeps disconnecting.

Yeah.. I think I've found another host =).

ya the ftp can b a real prob, im on my 6th attempt in uploading a file...The server has cut out each time before it finished
