Wow. I haven't seen such a design in a while. I think I sorta like it. The red color reminds me of cherry and the pink reminds me of strawberry shake. Noo your layout is making me hugry. LOL. I'm curious as to why you have the little white square shape under the HOME navigation list? The overall layout looks incomplete to me and the area with the login and the logo is kinda ugly (no offense).

can i ask your guidance as to what i ought to add/remove to make the login and logo area look better?

edit: i forgot to give feedback ok so, i like it a good amount. I think its different then most which is what makes it interesting. the only things i would change are: the header logo, and the area under the content boxes is a little bit too big. but other than that i like it a lot

I hope you dont mind but i tried editing a few things in photoshop elements.

I just tried doing some colorization and stuff, but i still think the logo is an issue.

Very nice! It's a great design... but I personally don't like it because of the colors. But that is just my personal opinion.

Negative:
- Color scheme - This is the big one. I just don't like that shade of red and all the pink. But that is personal preference.
- Logo - I think everyone agrees.
- Bottom navigation - Not fond of it
- Login - For some reason I don't like gradients without borders. Try a white inside stroke with low opacity. :\ Not sure. Oh, it could also use a button that you click to login... just for all that are missing an enter key
- The "current" marker (under home) - It could work... maybe try making it wider to fit the whole button and add a little more transparency.

Now we're done with the bad stuff, lets go on with the good stuff.

Positive:
- Navigation - I love the glare! But maybe that's because I'm attracted to shiny things... hmmm o.O
- Folded header - Great look.
- Font choice isn't too bad (other than the logo ). I'd like to see the rest with dummy text... yes I know, I know - you hate it! Too bad! hehe
- Everything else not mentioned under "bad" is "good" but that's only #000000 and #ffffff criticism... don't get me started with the #808080's *fake background applause* That always boosts my confidence
