You need to make your website Domain smaller, you can't have no more than 16chars for your database & username.

ok, i'll see if that works

If you check out the red text I highlighted from the error, you can see how instead of showing "stepmania-stuff_forum" it cut off the forum part.

So do like crown says and everything will work great!

Thanks guys, I had the same problem, I noticed the fact my user name was cut off (The last two letters) but decided I'd check the forums first, better safe than sorry tongue.gif

EDIT:

Well now it's saying I have to move, rename or delete the install directory but I can't.

When I rename it - it doesn't get renamed. It wont move, and it won't be deleted:

Make sure that "show hidden files" is turned on in your FTP client, then delete the .htaccess file and you should be able to delete the directory.

I was originally trying to delete it from the filemanager section of my website online, in my websites "control panel"

I'll try deleting the .htaccess file.

EDIT:

I WONT try deleting the .htaccess file because I can't log into my site. When I log in on my Zymic home page bit to my site it doesn't load the page and says there was a connection time out, and the ftp says it can't make a connection. This happened when I was uploading via ftp yesterday, halfway through it just lost connection. I waited though and it caame back, so I'll just do that. Hopefully it'll work later.

Just kinda irritating that every now and then I can't go anywhere near my site :/ I understand that downtime is always going to happen on a free hosting service but, that's twice in two days so far..

What's the usual down time for this host? I know my old one never had any down time, but it didn't support php, which was why I moved.

Forget all that, I just go their email about how they're doing the disk check and such - I guess I'll be leaving it till 3:45 then tongue.gif
