Hey all I've installed a new template on
www.nascentdescent.com. I like the feel of it but am not sure if it needs more or not. right now only the 'enter' page and forums currently work (I didnt design the forum). Below are examples of some of the other pages.
*Note I only checked this on several screens so if it looks bad on your screen please let me know.
Thanks,
Kevin

I think you should fix the intro page because when i click the link above it's 2 skyskraper google ads on the left and then below that is the black and white box Paranoid is talking about.

yeah sorry about that i added the ads and was having trouble with the css, im in the progess of fixing it.
@paranoid: the reason its black and white is because my idea was to keep the background and elements simple, then adding images on top. Because this is for my band there will be a lot of images and media players etc, basically my plan is to have the content create the color. The reason being that will all the other templates i created for this site i used a lot of color and when i added the content it was just to much.
any opinions about this?
I apologize about the link, you have to scroll down to see the layout, its being fixed, hopefully by tommorow. (novice to coding lol)

im trying to figure out why i cant float them to the right of the ads ive got a post in the html/css section here.
on another note, you all say it needs some work, i dont disagree. any suggestions on what specifically i can do to it? just as a note this design was created in Paint.Net, since then I have upgraded to Photo Shop

Thanks everyone,
Kevin

well it's good... PhotoShop as you may know is a huge program filled with design opportunities. I would suggest not using the standard Black and White..
Try using some grunge effects.

Im afraid that if i get started with grunge effects etc Im going to have alot of images on this site and it will take for ever to load. Because along with the actual layout there will be a fair amount of media players etc running on this site. I just dont want to run into the problem of having this site run incredibly slow. Is this a realistic fear? or am I a little off the rocker tonight? lol

brushed some wet media brushes over it to make it have that grunge feel Im not sure if i like it better or not

Shouldnt use an IFrame (installed one) for the content.
The content one you created is still very bland with colors.
