I am having troubles with FTP. It tells me that all by directories are read-only:

Command: RNTO /Packages/SMFStaff1.6/Staffh.php
Response: 550 Rename/move failure: Read-only file system

It is not JUST that directory. I've already made sure of that. I was wondering if the permissions have been reset to a default, because I didn't do it. I was up until 05:00 installing mods to my SMF script manually, and the permissions were fine, and I could edit all of my files.

As far as the server problems go, the same old problem is rearing its ugly head again. I can load a couple of pages, then they quit, and I get a browser "Page Cannot Be Displayed" message.

Next time check the news/announcements first.

Not a big difference, but it is there nonetheless. I could not have known that announcement would be made 22 minutes after my topic was posted.......

tis true. I was trying to slightly stem the flood of posts we get when this happens, but seem to have made a fool of myself.
