Right now, I realized it is 08/08/08 in my country. Long way back, I had read about the numerological and biblical significance of this number, so I just surfed around the net and found out that some people are actually bracing for Armageddon and coming of Christ today....

888 is the number of Christ according to the bible, and some websites have used the Book of Revelation to predict the Second coming of christ today.

Now, let me just put some of my arguments here (please do not be offended by my explanations...I am a non-believer in God but I still respect the religions):

What time-zone will God follow for the launch of Armageddon and the second coming. Its already late in the afternoon here on 8th, and in a few hours, it will be midnight, thus 09/08/08. So Jesus is not using the Fiji Time Zone, he don't like me. If its in GMT time zone, then it will be 09/08/08 midday here, so for me, 8th has passed without anything happening, thus a false prophesy.

Ok right, something is happening on 8th afterall, Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in China, thus the official start of the Olympics. its 8th in China, oh Wtf then, its already 9th here in Fiji, and in Western Samoa, its still 07/08/08. And what the hell Armageddon has to do with the Olympics lol. Again, the prophecies are wrong in their timing.

Sorry guys, its like only 6 hours for me till 08/08/08 finishes for me. I am waiting for the Armageddon thingy, and already made a nice dinner to welcome back Jesus. I think he will be late lol, lets watch some TV....And btw, if he does come, I have a nice puzzle for him before he starts with all the destruction and stuff. God is omnipotent, right. Omnipotent means God can do anything, nothing is impossible for him. I will tell him to create a rock which he can not lift. Well if God is omnipotent, he should be able to create a rock which he himself can not lift, right? Now, if he creates a rock and is not able to lift it, he is not omnipotent, since he cannot lift the rock (Remember, he can do anything lol). And if he does lift the rock, then lol, he is not omnipotent again. Since he lifted the rock, he cannot create a rock he cannot lift.....

So maybe he may spend considerable time solving this puzzle, Armaggedon may be delayed. Enough time for all of you to escape using the hidden spacecrafts in Area 51 to Mars or Moon or any of the goddamn forsaken place out there in the Universe where America has secret bases established already....

Ok enough joking guys, and sorry if I offended you people. But these are the facts. The prophesis came straight from the Book of Revelation, and if nothing happens on 8/8/08, then the bible is wrong in this context.

Please don't support your argument with the false prophet thingy. The "end of the world in 08/08/08" belief has been preached by and supported by all churches and ministries decades back, who slowly changed their stance when they realised nothing is going to happen on this date.....

I think that if he was going to come he would come at 8:88am or 8:88pm which would translate to 9:28 so since it didn't happen this morning, i'll wait til 9:28 pm and see what happens.
