Well, I have put on hold my idea of a social networking website until I get a free domain and enough income to get at least a VPS. I have decided on instead concentrate on community blogging thus my question:

Is Drupal Allowed?

I assume drupal is allowed, however a confirmation will be nice. Many features of Drupal need the following, so could anyone please advise me if it is available:

1) the mod_rewrite module and the ability to use local .htaccess files?
2) httpd and other server processors that allow initiation of outbound connections?
3) Is integrated "Update status" module available to check for updates?
4) the ability to log in via OpenID, fetching aggregator feeds, or
other network-dependent services?

Another question, which though is not so urgent, however, a reply will be appreciated.
I bought a licensed version of Skadate Unity for my social networking project (which I put on hold now). However, I am still interested in testing it out and getting to learn it before I implement it later. My question, can I install and run Skadate Unity on Zymic Free hosting for testing purposes only?
