[Digsby] is possibly the greatest thing I have seen since Gai...ahh...Pidgin.
It allows you to log into all your IM accounts and email accounts at the same time and it has a load of features.
It's in BETA but it is so very cool. I recommend it!
Jacob.

I also recommend it, have been using it for about two months and it seriously is the best IM client I've ever used.
It also allows you to login to Facebook Twitter and MySpace and get instant updates.
It also allows you to stay logged into Facebook chat while your on Digsby.
Seriously best thing ever.

Well I personally have not found any reason to not like the people that run Digsby. They are nice on their blog, so I guess that's what matters. I'm sorry you've had a bad experience with them Sazzad

As you know (or may not), DIGGSBY was started by couple of students from my
university and we all (Diggsby and my company Jorsek) are part of this program called
Ventures creation. The people are, I guess, cool however the way they try to gain their employees are not. We went to this presentation thing where all the companies from Ventures creation goes to show their latest softwares. We were there with a lot of people around our table where we were showing our Vicar NCMS software and Trust Operating System and suddenly they bring a shit load of freebies out of no-where and walks near to our table and passes it out. WTF. We lost most of our visitors and possible customers. Also they tried to hire shit load of people from Ventures creation. In any case I like their software too.
I guess I can't judge the entire team as they do have a group of people working on this. I honestly do like their software. I'll download it and use it. But I have such a history with Pidgin. I will miss it.

I was wondering why there was a bunch of digsby posters hanging up at RIT.
Digsby loves eating up RAM.

ib download the beta (from their blog post about "beta testers needed"), it fixes most of the ram issues and they are still working on more improvements to get the ram usage even lower.
Here's the link to the blog post;

To be honest, I can't think of how much they are going to improve on the ram issue.

I will wait until the final release version before trying it.
Does anyone know System Specs?

Can't log into Facebook as IE throws JS errors. Disabling JS causes it not to work.
FAIL.

Yes, of course.
I tried disabling JS, error messages were already disabled blah blah blah... but just now managed to get in for some strange reason.
Will give the app a whirl over the next few days. Seems like quite a convenient time-saver for checking updates - e-mail, Facebook and IM all in one place.
I have no idea how todo the Facebook thing & email notice =[

Debbie Downer!
Well it went from over 100mb to 25mb on my computer. I'm happy with that.

If you want that, just get Flock.
