Hi, Im camille and Im new here.
I have this blogger accout which i want to change to a .com
check it here
but i have no idea how to do it
i saw some where here that it can be done for free if the site is
really pretty,
if it has quality content and
if its has been hosted on zymic for 30 days.
well i think the design i made is kinda cute smile.gif
i dont know about the quality of my content though cause i just recently
started my blog and its mostly just random stuff...
and i dont know how to set it up so that i can host it on here.

are there other alternatives if i dont qualify?
free ones?
thanks in advance smile.gif

well if you want to start your own blogs, there are downloads on google.com but you have to find them. also what I can tell you is that if you sign up on 110mb.com, all you can do it click on what you want, and it is installed on your server but you have to use install to get it running but I suggest you don't install it.

next what you can do it also use FTP to get the files into a folder to transport it to vndv.com servers. after that, you can install it from there. the only thing is from there is that you have to get the ones with the mySQL included because they are way better than the ones with no mySQL included. trust me I have tried and it doesn't work.

other thing, if you have what is on there, I also can tell you this

1) download the mySQL stuff on your blog. just click export and save it. (never change it though)
2) put everything on the vndv.com server.
3) make new database and username for mySQL.
4) import all information that you have downloaded from the old mySQL.
5) edit config.php to make it work on your mySQL accounts.

true true. but you have to wait till then so you can actually transfer it. it's best to note it and also take down some notes since I know how to do this as well. I've been doing it for 2-3 years now while learning PHP and html stuff.

you can also try this from a different site though but this is good information on the best ftp I've had for a long time and it has never let me down since.

In layman terms, FTP allows you to upload files to your account using a software that has an interface very similar to Windows Explorer.

The software acts just like any typical file manager. You can drag files into your domain account, delete them, rename them, etc...

Our top FTP software recommendation is FileZilla, which you can download at: http://tinyurl.com/67eh53

To login:

Step 1: Start FileZilla.

Step 2: Click on File --> Site Manager

Step 3: Click on "New Site" button.

Step 4: As "Logontype" click on "Normal".

Step 5: Enter your account details into boxes as per below...

==============
Your FTP details are:
==============

FTP/Host: USERNAME.vndv.com
Username: USERNAME
Pass: PASSWORD
port should be 0

this is from 110mb.com since I have been friends with the administrator on there for 2 years now.
