Right now I have google sketch up and blender, I really like sketch up because the way it works, I use the pen tool and draw the shapes I want then drag and edit them etc, it's more like drawing. Where as blender I have to create a shape then specifically modify points to create a shape. I cant just draw the shapes I want. (atleast as far as i know blender cant do this). I want to find a 3D software, maybe with a few more features, a more professional program. But I dont want to spend a killing like 1 grand on maya or how ever much its going for now.

Thanks,
Kevin

To whoever said try 3ds Max... the program costs $3500.

But it is a great program. I learned how to use it in highschool. It's definitely not like sketchup, but once you do learn it's amazing what you can create.

It was only a matter of time before the sketchup way of doing things got into a mainstream 3D program.
Its from the makers of form.Z.

If you are looking for Free then blender may be your best bet, if you don't mind paying, you can get a student version of lightwave on ebay for around £230 its an extremely good package and the results you can achieve are very good.

Just go for 3D Max. that is the best 3D editing software, and you can draw any shape, edit them etc.
